ALAK BISWAS
Alak Biswas was born in the state of undivided Bengal over seven decades ago. He is a retired Professional Engineer and practiced his profession in three continents for over 40 years. He made Georgia his home nearly 32 years ago and is now leading a retired life with his wife in a suburb of Atlanta.
Alak Biswas considers himself an amateur writer and started writing casually after his retirement. He is intensely drawn to the poems of the Indian Nobel laureate Rabindra Nath Tagore, especially those based on the verses of ancient Indian scriptures known as Upanishads.
