CHRISTINA TRANSUE

 

Christina Transue was born and raised in Scotland. She graduated from Moray House Teachers' Training College in Edinburgh in 1953. After teaching for 6 years in Edinburgh she moved with her American husband to Charlotte, NC. In 1961 they moved to the Atlanta area where Christina has been ever since. She earned her Master's in Education from Georgia State University, taught school in Georgia for 28 years, acted as Director of Christian Education in the Presbyterian Church for 3 years, and is now retired. Since her retirement she has served on several committees in various Societies in and around Atlanta. Her hobbies include reading, travel, playing bridge and enjoying the company of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
