SUHAS SENGUPTA
Suhas Sengupta was born and grew up in India and now is a resident of Atlanta since 1972. He worked as senior staff Architect at a Multinational Engineering Company for many years. He left his job from the engineering company to devote full time to express himself through painting and photography.
Suhas has refocused his creative expression to the medium of painting. He creates intensely colorful compositions of shapes & textures against an unifying background. Suhas paints in a modern expressionist style. His detail to line and space is reflected throughout his work. Colorful and methodical his canvases evoke a sense of freedom and movement. Objects of his expressions are those that respond to his visual and emotional senses. In his own words "nature is full of complex shapes and colors and textures - that inspire me in my painting compositions. I paint them as I see them in my mind"
